Compared to Black D'hide, Karils does give less Melee defence, but it gives more Magic and Ranged Defence. Does not degrade. Armadyl Helm is 1.6m, not an exorbitant amount. It has +3 ranged attack bonus over Karil's.Blessed dhide is better as the improved magic defence is irrelevant, the ranged defence difference is marginal, the increased melee defence of d'hide helps against snakelings, and the prayer bonus helps not use as much supplies.
