Nov 18, 2016 · Hi All, My svchost.exe service is constantly downloading on the background. It is contacting akamaitechnologies.com domain. It is often saturates my internet bandwidth (consuming up to 16 Mbps internet bandwidth). I always have my Windows Defender on and updated since the first run. Friday, November 18, 2016 1:32 PM.
